In 2021 Andy Waugh Yacht Design embarked upon a 2 year journey, working closely alongside passionate clients and culminating in the creation of the largest first commission of any yacht designer in history. Construction of the vessel is now well underway at Dorries Yachts with naval architecture by Hugo Van Wieringen/Azure Naval Architects and interior design by Champeau and Wilde.

During the long and intensive development process we managed to bring the clients dream to life, meeting or surpassing all of his original requirements many of which posed incredible challenges. The pool on the aft main deck measures an astonishing 20m by 5m while the expansive owners deck above required 3m ceiling heights with floor to ceiling glass and unobstructed views of the seascape. Despite these challenges the final design fulfilled the clients aesthetic vision of a unique futuristic form, simultaneously imposing and elegant.

To optimize the financial aspect of the project some of the original finishing details have since been scaled back as the clients design company took full ownership of the design.
